Friday 29Jan16 I went skiing at the snow centre in Hemel Hempstead where I had a coaching session with my favourite instructor and the lovely man who taught me how to ski Richard Featherstone. It was great to see Richard as I have not seen him for a little while and I enjoyed catching up with him and having a chat.
I had a one hour lesson at the centre and as it was a Friday it was not too busy. Richard got me to practise my parallel turns and gave me some tips to improve my skiing. I enjoyed the lesson, seeing Richard and skiing at the snow centre. The facilities here are very good compared to the normal dry slope where I ski so it is always a treat to come here.
Richard told me that my skiing had improved greatly and at the end of the session he presented me with a certificate and a special Snowibility badge in recognition of my improved skiing skills. All in all I had a great time there and following my lesson we visited the nearby town centre to have a spot of lunch at my favourite restuarant Pizza Express. Skiing is a very energetic so I was really hungry for my lunch and it did not take me long to finish off by dough balls and pizza.
Below are a few pictures from the day:

Well done Nathan x sorry I missed out on this trip as I was ill! Mum xxx
That was such a brilliant day and many congratulation on your Snowbility Colours – The colours badge is about overall achievement, courage, inspiration and loyalty regardless of level achieved – The best of the best.
Very cool
Richard 🙂
That looks great. I am glad we have seen it as we are planning to go there with the whole class if we can organise it.
