Nigo from Japan Exhibition

Friday 2nd October 2026 I went to the Design Museum with my friend Sandra, we travelled there on the Elizabeth line from Ilford to Paddington where I walked through to see the Paddington Bear statues and the shop, then went on the Circle line to High Street Kensington. EXHIBITION
NIGO: From Japan with Love
We explored the vision and legacy of Japanese designer and creative director NIGO – from street style to music and beyond, in the first UK exhibition showcasing his multifaceted creative work, alongside vintage objects and traditional crafts from his personal collection.
This landmark exhibition features over 700 objects, with highlights including a recreation of NIGO’s teenage bedroom, rare designs, ceramics hand-thrown by NIGO himself, and a life-size glass tea house made especially for the exhibition. His work draws on influences spanning vintage Americana, streetwear, hip-hop, traditional Japanese craft and growing up in 1980s Tokyo.

Also I do a lot of art and craft and over the last couple of weeks I painted my wall in the garden with my favourite characters. Below are some pictures from my day and with my food from my Norfolk holiday in August, if you like reading my blog please
