The National Maritime Museum

Friday 28th March 2025 I went to the National Maritime Museum with my mum. We got there on the Elizabeth & DLR from Ilford to Greenwich Cutty Sark. At the museum we saw the Astronomy Photographer of the Year Exhibition it is an annual competition featuring the world’s greatest space photography. Photographers from across the globe compete to take home the prestigious title. Over 100 photographs are on show in a special exhibition they are displayed at their very best on brilliant lightbox displays. Then we went in to the cafe in the museum for lunch where I had a chicken burger, chips and a cinnamon bun. Afterwards we popped in the nearby Queen’s House where we looked at the beautiful house, artwork and spectacular spiral staircase. Below are some pictures from my day and also if you like reading my blog please comment.
