Friday 29th May 2026 I went to the New V&A East Museum with my dad we travelled there on the Elizabeth line straight from Ilford to Stratford. We visited exhibition The Music is Black
The exhibition covers 125 years of Black music-making in Britain. Spanning four continents, this is a story of excellence, struggle, resilience and joy.
As you step into The Music is Black and travel through time over 120 tracks from every era play directly through your headset. More than an exhibition, this immersive sound experience explores the power and impact of Black British music. Below are some pictures from my day and my food from Lytham St Annes last friday night.
