This week I was away on holiday with my family in Derbyshire and then Blackpool. On Sunday 17th March we travelled by car to our holiday home in Matlock, Derbyshire arriving late afternoon after stopping briefly in Matlock Bath. On Monday we visited the Well Dressings in the village of Tissington where we had a lovely time looking at the six beautifully decorated wells. On Tuesday we visited the National Tram Museum in Crich which has lots of vintage trams from Blackpool. On Wednesday we went to the Heights of Abraham enjoying the super aerial views over the Derbyshire countryside and the Wombles exhbition. Thursday we moved holiday homes travelling further north to a new holiday home in Lytham St. Annes stopping just before we arrived in Blackpool where we stopped briefly and strolled around the amusements and arcades. Friday was my favourite day of the week as I got to visit my best theme park Blackpool Pleasure Beach meeting all the Nickelodeon characters, seeing Gromit and going on the Wallace & Gromit rides many times. On Saturday I did the Blackpool park run first thing then later in the afternoon we visited Lytham Hall and the Lytham Windmill. Finally on Sunday I went back to Blackpool Pleasure Beach enjoying the fabulous rides they have there. On Monday after a great week away we travelled back home to London where I reflected on my great holiday in Derbyshire and Blackpool and all the fun things I did all week. This is a super blog. Below are some pictures from my week also if you like reading please comment.
