Duxford War Museum Day Out

Friday 22nd July 2016 I went to Duxford War Museum with my mum Natalie and my cousin Millie. We had a realy nice time there and the weather today was very warm and sunny. Me, Millie and  mum had a look around all the aircraft including concorde that they had there in the many aircraft hangars. This is a big place with lots to see and do if you have not been there before it worth a day out as there lots to see and do for everyone. I really like the world war II planes with all their flags and emblems and the way they are hung up in the huge hangars you can imagine them flying through the air during a fierce battle. We also all went on a flight simulator which was good and we learnt a lot about avaition and flying a plane. We also really liked the Land Warfare and American Air Museum towards the end of Duxford and I enjoyed dressing up in an army costume. We left after a few hours and had luch on the way back at Harry Ramsden’s at the services on the M11 which rounded off another nice day out.

Today is my final Friday blog for 2015-16 school term and my 38th Friday Blog. I have enjoyed going out on a Friday instead of going to school this day and we have seen and done some amazing things and met some great people. Thanks very much to my mum Natalie for arranging all my trips and making my Friday which used to be my most stressful and difficult day of my week to my favourite day. Not sure what we are going to do each Friday in 2016-17 but if you anybody has any good ideas let us know. Also I wanted to thank everybody who had taken the time to read my blog and comment on this. I not on facebook or other social media so this is a good way for me to keep in touch with everybody and I have really enjoyed reading all your comments and hearing from you all. I hope everybody has a great a summer and gets to relax and do some fun things with family and friends.
