Winston Churchill The Painter Exhibition

This week I decided to do my blog on Tuesday 11th August 2026 I went to the Wallace Collection to see Winston Churchill The Painter Exhibition with my dad, we travelled straight there on the Elizabeth line from Ilford to Bond Street. First we popped into Disney Store in Oxford Street and then we went to Selfridges.

Winston Churchill: The Painter exhibition at the Wallace Collection

Sir Winston Churchill (1874 – 1965) was one of the great statesmen of the twentieth century – the UK’s Prime Minister during the Second World War, and a Member of Parliament for 62 years. He was also a passionate and prolific painter. In painting, he found respite from public pressures, and a lifelong source of joy.

The first major retrospective of Sir Winston Churchill’s paintings since his death, this exhibition brings together more than 50 of his works. More than half are from private collections, rarely accessible to the public. Below are some pictures from my day and my breakfast from my Pakefield hoilday last year, also if you like reading my blog please comment.

Here are my things I bought

Of course, no trip to Oxford Street is complete without a visit to the Disney Store! A definite must-do.
