My Birthday

This week I went away for a with my family to Norfolk for a short pre birthday break. We left on Thursday afternoon and drove to our holiday barn which was near Wroxham. On Friday we went to Hemsby to the amusement arcades and later took Barney to the beach at nearby Winterton. On Saturday morning we did the letter F Parkrun at Fitzmaurice Parkrun. Later in the day we went to Norwich and had a look around the shops and cathedral where there was a Paddington bench statue. On Sunday we went to Great Yarmouth and later went to Salhouse Broad for a walk. Monday we visited Wroxham Miniature World which was a fantastic experience with lots to see. Later we visited Mundesley Beach and had dinner at a pub on the broads in Horning. On Tuesday we travelled back home after a lovely relaxing break. On Wednesday on my actual birthday I opened my presents and cards before we had brunch at City Place in Wanstead. In the afternoon I went to the V&A Museum with my mum to see the Wallace and Gromit Exhibition, Inside Aardman: Wallace & Gromit and Friends
You get to go behind the scenes of stop-motion animation and explore how Aardman’s iconic characters and worlds are brought to life, My Favourite was the Vengeance Most Fowl model.
In Aardman’s 50th anniversary year, you can peek behind the scenes of your favourite stop-motion animations and find out how Aardman brings clay to life. On Thursday evening  I went to see Paddington the Musical with my dad, we got there on the Central & Jubilee lines from Barkingside to Waterloo where I saw the Paddington Mural. Paddington The Musical at the Savoy Theatre. Packed with show-stopping songs, dazzling choreography, mishaps and mayhem at every turn and of course, marmalade sandwiches Paddington The Musical is based on the iconic characters from Michael Bond’s books, with a story inspired by the award-winning 2014 film. Directed by Luke Sheppard, with original music and lyrics by Tom Fletcher, and book by Olivier Award-winner Jessica Swale. My Favourite part of the show was the marmalade song.     What an amazing blog! You certainly have been busy and having loads of fun on your Birthday week .

    Loved the photo of you you on the beach soaking up the sun and enjoying the lovely water underfoot.

    Your present collection is amazing .

    And to cap it off you went to see one of your favourite characters at the theatre, our dear friend Paddington.

  19. Happy birthday to Nathan! Hope you had the best birthday! Wow this blog is amazing, so many great photos and you have been very busy! I really enjoyed reading the blog and looking at all the great photos! Love Wallace and Gromit photos! The cake looked amazing and the food looked very yummy!
