Friday 7th February 2025 I went to the Postal Museum with my dad, we got straight there on the Elizabeth line from Ilford to Farringdon. Although I have visited this museum several times I really enjoy going there. Today we went on the mail rail train after which we saw the main exhibition. The exhibition included Dressed to Deliver where you can discover the battles won for uniform equality and the right to express identity, from the first female posties in trousers to important changes reflecting the cultural diversity of the UK’s postal workforce. My favourite thing was the stamps because I’m interested in them and collect character ones. On Monday I went to my local Indian restaurant along my high street where I had poppadoms, butter chicken, garlic Nan bread and pilau rice which was delicious. Oh Nathan, your photos are absolutely brilliant as usual, I love all your pics in the postal museum, I especially love the pictures of Elvis! I also love the Pepper Pig, Postman Pat, Wallace and Gromit! They must have been the best ones! The old Royal Mail Post Bus , I could just imagine it with wheels back in the day!
