- Friday 12th July 2019 I went to the Postal Museum with my Friend Sam and we got the Central Line from Newbury Park to Chancery Lane. The museum had lots of interesting exhibitions. . My favourite thing was the miniature mail train it was a 15 mins journey through the original tunnels and station platforms under mount pleasant. There was two exhibitions in the museum Mail Rail and Voices from the deep . The Postal Museum opened on the 28th July 2017. Afterwards I went to Holborn and for lunch we went to Pizza Express my favourite restaurant where I had dough balls, Pizza and chocolate cake for dessert.
Today is my final Friday blog for 2018-19 term time and my 163rd Friday Blog. I have enjoyed going out on Fridays and I have seen and done some amazing things and met some great people. Not sure what we are going to do each Friday in 2019-20 but if anybody has any good ideas let us know. Also I wanted to thank everybody who had taken the time to read my blog and comment on this. I am not on facebook or other social media so this is a good way for me to keep in touch with everybody and I have really enjoyed reading all your comments and hearing from you all. I hope everybody has a great a summer and gets to relax and do some fun things with family and friends.

Where do you get all the great ideas for places to visit? I work in Holborn so I’m very close to the museum but I’ve never visited it. Wish I had and perhaps I will. You definitely look like you thoroughly enjoyed your day out with your friend. It’s been lovely reading your blog and thanks for the ideas. We all went to the London Transport Museum today and thought it was fab! X
