This week I went to New York with my family to visit my sister Sophie. We travelled from Heathrow to JFK in New York with British Airways. We had a lovely flight and I even got to meet the captain and sit in the cockpit at the end of the flight. On Friday we went to Times Square then later we walked the High Line to Chelsea Market. On Saturday we went to Grand Central Station where Madagascar was filmed, Rockefeller Center and Central Park. In the afternoon me and Jean went to Madame Tussaud’s. On Sunday me and my dad did a 5K race in Brooklyn at Prospect Park. I came 6th overall in the race and got an extra medal for finishing first in my age group. In the afternoon we walked Brooklyn Bridge. On Monday I went to Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park in the American Dream Shopping Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey with my dad which I really enjoyed this was the first Theme Park in the USA that I have been to and it now one of my favourites. On Tuesday I went to the RiseNY with my mum and Jean which was great fun. On Wednesday we went to the Museum of Illusion where I bumped into Shawn and Charlotte from Theme Park Worldwide, which I could not believe and made me so happy. In the evening we travelled back to London where I reflected on my great holiday in New York and all the fun things I did all week. This was a super blog because I had a action packed week.
