National Army Museum

Friday 8th March 2024 I went to the National Army Museum with my auntie Denise, we travelled there on the Elizabeth and District lines from Ilford to Slone Square. The National Army Museum is a fun, interactive space for all the family. The engaging museum experience reaches out to all. They want to connect the British public with its army, regardless of age, gender, race and religion. They examine the Army’s role from the British Civil Wars to the modern day. Through there collections they preserve and share stories of ordinary people with extraordinary responsibilities. They explore the role of the Army and its relevance today. This was my first visit there. Afterwards we went to Pizza Express in Kings Road my favourite restaurant for lunch where I had dough balls, pizza and chocolate cake for dessert.   1. What an interesting day you must of had Nathan, I love the big tanks you are showing us & all the old war posters too! Brilliant babe, gives us an idea of the war back in the day. I must say that you look so cool in your sunglasses . The soldier with the big black hat, I can’t remember what they call them, can you?? He looks like he could be rather intimidating.   10. What an interesting place to visit Nathan. I loved all the old posters. Would Sim look good in a bearskin hat? I reckon he might play the bagpipes too!

  11. I love the skeleton of a horse! I thought it looked like a dinosaur. I think Sim would look good in a kilt! Huge pizza and doughballs. I don’t know how you eat it all!
