London Transport Museum

Friday 30th June 2023 I went to the London Transport Museum with my auntie Denise. We travelled on the Elizabeth & Central lines from Ilford to Holborn. It was very busy in the museum with lots of school parties but I still enjoyed my day. This is one of the places I have visited the most in the 8 years I have been doing my blog. There was new displays and information about the Elizabeth Line and also new merchandise in the gift shop. Afterwards we went to Wild Wood restaurant in Covent Garden where I had chicken burger, chips and garlic bread, for dessert I had a cookies and cream cheese cake.   2. Hi Nathan I love the old buses. The horse drawn vehicles must be great to have gone on. The bus with the bit where the conductor stood is very familiar because my Lisa always stood there because she always felt sick. So glad you enjoyed yourself.

  13. I also like it there, it’s very interesting, isn’t it, Nathan? I like the shop there with some quirky things to buy like the cushions made from the material used for the upholstering on the tube. Another good choice for a day out. Love from Jean xx

  15. Wow i haven’t been to this museum for a very long time. it still looks fabulous! I remember when people could smoke on the underground! Ugh!

    Love the transport museum. I don’t remember horse drawn buses but I remember the train carriages! They used to have a net shelf above for you to put luggage in
