London Duck Tour

Friday 13May16 me and my mum Natalie went to London and went on the Duck Tour around the city and the river Thames. We got the central line train from Barkingside to Bank then took the waterloo and city line to Waterloo. We boarded the duck tour bus just in front of the London Eye and we took our seat, there were about 15 people on the bus including the guide and driver. We met the guide Charleen and  the bus driver Antonio and started the tour driving up to Westminster. The tour was very interesting and the guide told us interesting facts about all the famous places we passed on the tour. As we got to the MI5 Building by the Thames we swapped drivers and Antonio was replaced by Danny and I was very excited as we drove into the river and started travelling up the river by the Houses of Parliament . I enjoyed the tour it was a very nice day bright and warm and I thanked the bus crew for a very enjoyable tour. For lunch we went to Starbucks at Waterloo station where I had a delicious sausage roll.

  2. The duck tour looks very interesting. It must feel a bit strange driving a lorry into the river!
