Cartoon Museum

Friday 8th July 2022 I went to the Cartoon Museum one of my favourite museums with my Auntie Denise we went straight on the Central line from Gants Hill to Oxford Circus. The Cartoon Museum re-launched at 63 Wells Street on 1st July 2019! The design vision for the museum was led by Sam Jacob Studio, who used the language of cartoons and comics as inspiration for the new architecture. The Cartoon Museum champions cartoon and comic art, highlighting its value to culture and society. Through their programme of exhibitions, events and workshops, they aim to conserve & provide access to Britain’s cartoon and comic art heritage, encourage participation in and raise awareness of a popular artform, this was my third time there. My favourite things were Rupert Bear, Wallace and Gromit and Dennis the Menace pictures and cardboard cut-outs. Afterwards we went to Nando’s Berners Street where I had a butterfly chicken, chips and garlic bread for dessert I had a choc-a-lot cake which was delicious. Below are some pictures from my day and also if you like reading my blog please comment.
