Friday 11Mar16 I visited the British Museum with my cousin Jake. We left from my house and got the Central Line to Holborn Station where we took a short walk to the British Museum. After taking a picture outside the museum where went in and looked around the museum. First we looked at the Egyptian sculptures and mummies and then took a look around the museum taking lots of pictures. Jake explained to me about the Egyptians as he is really interested in this subject, I was a bit confused about the mummies and not sure of them. After having a good look about the museum we went off to Macdonalds on the way back to the station where me and Jake had some lunch. All in all we had a good day and I enjoyed spending some time with Jake. I saw some things at the museum that I had not seen before and Jake explained these to me although I am still a bit unsure about the mummies. When I got home I was relieved to see my mum Natalie and glad she was not wrapped up in bandages. Below are some pictures from our day:
