Friday 17th July 2026 I went to the Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration with my dad, we travelled there on the Elizabeth & Northern lines from Ilford to Angel.
Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration is the UK’s only permanent place for illustration, located in Clerkenwell, London.
Their three galleries in a former waterworks showcase the breadth and dynamism of illustration through regularly changing exhibitions. After lunch we visited the Winnie the Pooh Beehive temporary pop-up in St. Pancras Station & the Harry Potter shop at Kings Cross Station and had a look around. Oh wow Nathan I bet you had a fantastic time at the Quentin Blake centre, looks so interesting, I used to read his books many years ago & they were fantastic! I absolutely LOVE all of your photos so thank you for them.
I believe Winnie The Pooh turned 100 years old yesterday didn’t he! Excellent & the stories about him are still circulating like wildfire aren’t they??!!

A really interesting exhibition to visit Nathan! You find all of the coolest places to go and see. I find Quentin’s illustrations so fun and unique, it’s pretty cool you got to see them up close and personal. Another great blog, thanks for sharing with us. X x
