This week I have been on my Yorkshire holiday with my parents and my dog Barney. We travelled up by car on Sunday night stopping at Travelodge Lincoln Thorpe Bay. On Monday we went to the seaside at Withernsea before making our way to Bridlington where our holiday home was. On Tuesday we went to Hornsea Freeport where I bought a couple of things in the shops. On Wednesday we went to a nice Model Village Bondville just outside of Bridlington. On Thursday we went to the Strawberry Fields Carboot where I bought some puzzles and then we had a wonder around the Old Town. In the afternoon we popped just along the coast to Filey which was another lovely seaside town with some nice shops and a beautiful coast line. On Friday we went to Bempton Cliffs it was fantastic to see thousands of birds flying around the cliffs. In the afternoon we went to the Beach. On Saturday morning me and my dad did the Parkrun at Sewerby in very heavy pouring rain. It was very cold to start off with but once I started running I enjoyed the course. In the afternoon we went to the Eden Camp War Museum. The museum had lots of interesting exhibits about the second world war. On Sunday we went to Driffield which is a pretty market town and we had nice lunch there and browsed round the shops. On Monday we travelled back home to London where I reflected on my great holiday in Yorkshire and all the fun things I did all week. Wow Nathan you’ve obviously had another amazing adventure with mummy & daddy & let’s not forget Barney up in Yorkshire!! I see you have seen some of your favourites Buzz Buzz lightyear, Spiderman, Gromit, exciting! I must say I was very impressed to see you in the sea, I did that when we went to the Isle of Wight & it was freezing!! I loved seeing you in the pictures in the water with Barney. I had to do a double take in a couple, firstly I thought you were a soldier & the second one and the other you a gentleman with a cane, they are all brilliant!!
