Walt Disney the Animation of French Decorative Arts

Friday 7th October 2022 I went to the Wallace Collection to see Walt Disney the Animation of French decorative arts with my Auntie Denise. We got there on the District and Central lines from Upney to Bond Street. The exhibition highlights the exceptional talent and innovation of both Walt Disney Animation Studios artists and the creative pioneers of the French 18th century. Although separated by two centuries, the artists, craftspeople and animators all had the same ambition – to breathe life, character, and charm into the inanimate. This was one of my favourite blog days. Afterwards we went to Zizzis nearby where I had chicken milanese chips and garlic bread for dessert I had a Caramelised Banana & Salted Caramel Waffle. We then popped into the Disney Store one of my favourite shops in Oxford Street where I had a look and took pictures. Below are some pictures from my day also if you like reading please comment.

  7. Great photos. I love the old Disney films like Bambi. I remember Mum taking Alan and myself to see it with Susan who was a baby. She had to take a small bottle for her.
    I have seen a lot of Disney films through my Grandchildren. So glad you had a great day.

  9. What a fabulous museum. I love the old cartoons and how they were all hand drawn. So pretty.
    I simply cannot believe the amount of food you can eat Nathan. Good job you do a lot of running!
