The Photographers’ Gallery

Friday 22nd April 2022 I went to the Photographers’ Gallery with My Auntie Denise and travelled there on the district and central lines. The gallery opened in London’s Covent Garden in 1971 it was the first public gallery in the UK dedicated to photography, it moved to it’s new home in Soho in May 2012. The Gallery was interesting each floor had a different theme from various artists. My favourite exhibition was “For the Record” about different photographers who have taken pictures for album covers over the years. I liked the Beatles crossing Abbey Road the best. Afterwards I then went to the Disney Store on Oxford Street to have a look and take some pictures and then I went to Pizza Express in Barret Street my favourite restaurant for lunch where I had dough balls, pizza and chocolate brownie for dessert. Below are some pictures from my day also if you like reading please comment.

  1. Another amazing day with your Auntie Denise Nathan, I absolutely LOVE all the photos when you were at the photographer’s gallery! The Beatles photo, wow, brilliant & Andy Warhol’s banana, simple but effective! Then onto the Disney store, so much in one day, you must be very tired!!?? Finally, all that food! Looks gorgeous but where do you put it all?? Looks like another fun day XXX ❤️♥️✌️

  2. I love the photos especially Sergeants Peppers lonely hearts band. I bought that album for John many years ago. John still has a box of Albums in a box going back to the sixties. I loved the Beatles and often visited Liverpool when younger to visit our Nan. I went back a few years ago and everything had changed but it was a great place to go. So glad you enjoyed your day what a great experience.
