St Paul’s Cathedral

Happy New Year Everyone. Friday 6th January 2023 I went to St Paul’s to see Peter Marlow’s English Cathedral Exhibition with my mum and dad we travelled straight on the central line from Bethnal Green to St Paul’s. Peter was inspired to continue this pilgrimage and capture all 42 cathedrals of the Church of England using only natural light. This formed an ethereal collection of images, comparing and contrasting the architectural nuances of the Anglican Cathedrals. Then we climbed 376 stairs to the stone gallery where I saw amazing views over London. This was my third visit. Afterwards we went to Pizza Express my favourite restaurant across the road where my sister Sophie met us for lunch. I had dough balls, Pizza and chocolate cake for dessert. Below are some pictures from my day also if you like reading please comment.

Here are my things I bought

  1. Happy New Year Nathan. I love St Paul’s. It’s a beautiful building. I left School at fifteen and used to walk through there some days while on a Audit. My husband John worked on St Paul’s . The bottom of the dome had coving which had to be removed and redone.
I love your photos. What a good exhibition.
