Friday 14th April 2023 I went to the Sony World Photography at Somerset House with my auntie Denise. We got straight there on the district line from Upney to Temple. Celebrating photography in all its varied brilliance, the internationally acclaimed Sony World Photography Awards opened its 2023 exhibition at Somerset House this April. Kickstarting London’s focal point of photography for the Spring season, the inspiring display showcases exceptional images from the four competitions and the Awards’ additional initiatives set out to embrace photographers worldwide. Afterwards we went to Frankie and Benny’s around the corner from Somerset House where I had chicken & halloumi burger, chips and garlic bread, for dessert I had a crème egg cookie dough.
