Skiing Hoilday

On Saturday 2nd March I went on holiday to Slovenia, we flew from Stanstead Airport and I went with my mum, dad, sister Sophie and her friend Alex. We flew to Ljubljana where we stayed for 2 nights and had a good time in the capital city of Slovenia. We visited the Castle at the top of a hill with great views over the city and strolled through the city centre walking by the river. On Monday we travelled by taxi to the ski resort of Kransjka Gora which was about an hour away. Shortly after arriving we checked into our new hotel and went to the ski slope to hire our equipment and buy our lift passes. We skied for 3 days in the resort it was very nice and enjoyable as it was not too busy and the weather was really good. This is the 2nd time I have been on a ski holiday although I practice regularly at Brentwood on their dry slope. Skiing on the mountain in Kranjska Gora was so much fun I did fall over once when I went down a very hard section on the first day but other than that I skied very well and improved each day. There was one slope I particularly like a blue run with a drag lift and I skied this lots of time. On the last day we also did some sledging on the slope in the afternoon which was also great fun and later I watched Sophie, Alex and Dad doing some night skiing. Below are some pictures from my day and also if you like reading my blog please comment.
