Friday 27May16 I went on a 5 day motorhome trip with my mum, dad and dog Barney. We hired the motorhome and picked it up just passed Luton on the M1. We drove to Stoke-on-Trent for our first stop to Trentham Gardens where we met up with my cousin Oliver and Aunt Louise. Later we stayed at Hales Hall Caravan Park at Cheadle. On Saturday we headed for Blackpool for our next stop. We got caught up in some traffic problems on the M6 and eventually got there over 4 hours later but I did very well and did not worry about the traffic problems and just found another route on the satnav. We parked up at the caravan site and went to Blackpool on the bus where I had sausage and chips from Harry Ramsdens near the Blackpool Tower and then walked along the long promenade to pleasure beach. On Sunday we headed towards North Wales and had a nice morning at the seaside resort of Towyn. We stayed over night at Rhinault Country Park and had a nice meal at the White House restaurant where I bought my dad his favourite drink a pint of lager. The next day we moved on and headed further west, in the morning we went surfing at Surf Snowden which was hard to learn but great fun. In the afternoon as it was such a sunny day we went to nearby Llundudno seaside resort. Llundudno was really nice although we had to park the motorhome a little way from the town centre. We walked to the town centre got some new toys and treats for Barney and strolled down to the pier. We then headed to Plas Farm Caravan site for our next overnight stay. It was a beautiful evening and very relaxing at the caravan site. In the morning we headed to Stoke-on-Trent and visited Trentham Gardens again as it is very dog friendly and one of our favourite places. Barney met lots of other dogs here and we had fun in the maze and in the gardens. In the afternoon we headed back to drop off the motorhome, collect our car and go home after a very enjoyable trip where we were very lucky to enjoyed some unusually great holiday weather for the UK.
