My blog this week features my recent trip to the Festival of Light at Longleat House that I went to on Monday 24th November. I travelled there by car in the morning with my Dad arriving just after lunch.
The Festival of Light is a fantastic Christmas event where you can explore iconic sights as you embark on a grand day out. The Festival of Light presents British Icons with Wallace & Gromit and friends! You can meet fan-favourite characters from Shaun the Sheep, Wallace and Gromit and more while you journey to some of the UK’s most famous landmarks, marvel at native wildlife and sights — all spectacularly reimagined in lantern form.
I had a fantastic day out on my trip to Longleat as well as seeing the amazing light festival I also got to see some other great stuff on the estate such as a boat trip, bat cave and seeing some animals. My favourite light displays at the festival were all the Aardmans ones. There were so many great displays it was impossible to choose just one favourite. I had a smashing grand day out 10/10.
Also today Friday 19th December 2025 I had my Christmas Jumper meal at home with some family round to help celebrate. We had a lovely evening together with lots of lovely food.
Finally I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. This is my last blog for 2025 and I hope you look forward to seeing my blog in 2026. Below are some pictures from Longleat and today, also if you like reading my blog please commet.

Oh wow Nathan, you are well & truly on your way to enjoying your Christmas aren’t you!! Excellent, that’s just what I like to see especially when you are surrounded by your love ones having such a gorgeous dinner at your Christmas jumper meal!!
