Greenwich Maritime Museum

Friday 27th September 2024 I went to the National Maritime Museum with my dad. We got there on the Elizabeth & DLR from Ilford to Greenwich Cutty Sark. At the museum we saw the Astronomy Photographer of the Year Exhibition it is an annual competition featuring the world’s greatest space photography. Photographers from across the globe compete to take home the prestigious title. Over 100 photographs are on show in a special exhibition they are displayed at their very best on brilliant lightbox displays. Then we went in to the cafe in the museum for lunch where I had a chicken burger, chips and a brownie. Afterwards we popped in the nearby Queen’s House where we looked at the beautiful house, artwork and spectacular spiral staircase.   1. Brilliant pictures. I like the maritime museum and the queens palace. I went there a long time ago. I think we walked under the river. Have a good weekend.
