White Water Rafting

Friday 09Oct15 I went white water rafting at Lea Valley with my cousin Jake. My mum took us and my Nanny Pat and Uncle Martin also came along to watch. The weather was really nice today it was very bright and sunny and it was a prefect day to do this activity. When we arrived we had to get changed into our wet suits and listen to the safety presentation. We also had to do a swim test which was good fun.  We then got to do four circuits of the rafting course and all in we were at Lea Valley for around 4 hours. The rafting was very exciting it was more difficult then I imagined but it was very good fun and something I would like to do again. Below are some of the pictures my mum took along with some professional ones from the day. If you don’t know who Jake is he is the guy sitting next to me in the above picture with the blue hat looking a little bit scared as we go down the big rapids.

  1. You are much braver than I am, Nathan. I’d really like to try it but I think I might be too much of a coward. Was it exciting? Looks like it was and it also looks like you really enjoyed yourself. Thanks for sharing this blog, Nathan. X

  2. Fantastic blog Nathan! This looks like so much fun! Hopefully you’ll get to do more things like this soon!
