This week I have been on my Blackpool/Chester holiday with my parents and my dog Barney. We travelled up by car on Sunday night stopping at Travelodge Hilton Park services near Birmingham. On Monday we travelled up to Blackpool before making our way to Lyham St Annes, then in the evening we went to see the Illuminations from the Blackpool Tower to the Pleasure Beach. In this section of the Illuminations they had Sooty and Nickelodeon lights which were great. On Tuesday we went to Lyham St Annes in the morning then in the afternoon we went to the Pleasure Beach Theme Park where I really enjoyed the Wallace and Gromit and Nickelodeon Rides. In the evening we went to see the illuminations again from the Blackpool Tower to Bispham. At Bispham they had fantastic tableau illuminations including Sooty, Basil Brush, Noddy and Postman Pat. On Wedensday I went back to the Pleasure Beach Theme Park again in the morning doing some more Rides and having a fun time at one of my favourite places, in the evening we had a lovely meal at the Fifty Four restaurant in Lyham St Annes . On Thursday we went around Lyham St Annes in the morning, then we travelled down to Chester. On Friday we went to Chester town centre where we brought a few things in the shops, then we went to Grosvenor Park to the Minature Railway where I had the train to myself before making our way to the river Dee when we took a boat trip. On Saturday morning we did the Parkrun in Chester, then we had breakfast in a Pub called the Little Owl nearby. In the afternoon we took a walk into Chester, then we travelled back home to London where I reflected on my great holiday in Blackpool/Chester where I did lots of fun things. This was a super blog because I had an actioned packed week away and I would like to go back to Blackpool again. What a wonderful week you have had. You managed to pack so much in. I love the photos. Blackpool was a favourite place for our family. My husband worked there for quite a while (Asphalting) it’s wonderful that you do the park runs you and your Dad must be very fit.
