This week I have been on holiday with my family in South Wales. We travelled up by car on Sunday night stopping at Bristol before making our way on Monday to Penally, near Tenby where we were staying for 4 nights. On Monday evening we met up with our friends Jean & Brian who were staying in Tenby. On Tuesday we visited Pembroke Castle and in the afternoon I had a swim in the sea at Penally beach. On Wednesday we went to Heatherton World of Activities where we had good fun go karting, shooting, playing mini golf and doing some other activities. On Thursday I went to Folly Farm which was amazing as they had a great vintage fairground and rides. In the afternoon we walked down to Penally beach and I swam in the sea again. Later in the evening we had dinner at a pub in Saundersfoot. On Friday we travelled to our next holiday home which was on a small farm near Newport. On the way there we stopped at Barry Island, the home of Gavin & Stacey and I went to the fun fair and in the amusement arcades. On Saturday morning we were up early and off to the local Parkrun at Tredegar House in Newport which was a lovely course. Later in the day we visited the Fourteen Locks museum and cafe and had a nice walk along the canal. On Sunday I did paddle boarding at Llandegfedd Lake and had lunch there before visiting Symonds Yat in the afternoon. On Monday we travelled back home to London where I reflected on my great holiday in Wales and all the fun things I did. We were also very lucky with the weather which was glorious all week.

Nathan you certainly crammed in a lot in your Trip to Wales. I love the photos. Nanny Pat does not change her family keep her young. I have not been to Wales only by accident years ago giving John instructions and went over the Bridge so had to turn around. I have heard a lot about Barry Island my friends Grandmother was Welsh.
