Friday 10th November 2023 I went to the Elvis exhibition at the Arches with my auntie Denise. We got there on the Elizabeth & Thameslink lines from Ilford to London Bridge. The exhibition is direct from Graceland featuring hundreds of treasures, over half that have never before been seen in the UK. Gain exclusive access to the life and world of Elvis Presley, in this newly curated retrospective. There are over 400 plus artefacts, from his prized Ferrari Dino to his iconic gold lamé suit, chart Elvis’s humble beginnings to his meteoric rise to fame in this kaleidoscopic chronicle of the King. Journey through multiple gallery spaces from Elvis the man to the global sensation, the performer and movie star – and experience first-hand featuring towering tributes to The 68 Special, Aloha From Hawaii, and Las Vegas with an immersive spectacle to relive the iconic performance. Finally, explore his Legacy and his continuing influence on pop culture from the opening of Graceland to the critically acclaimed Baz Luhrmann film Elvis. My favourite song was Viva Las Vegas. Yesterday I had my blog I went to Nandos at Westfield Stratford with my sister Sophie before I went to the cinema to see the third Trolls film. Where I had butterfly chicken, chips and garlic bread for dessert I had a choc-a-lot cake which was delicious. Below are some pictures and videos from my day and also . I went there last week and thought it was brilliant. So much to see.
Did you read the letters his Dad wrote to his mum asking how the young boy was? He wrote those whilst serving a prison sentence for forging a cheque. That’s how poor they were….and that little boy went on to become the most famous man on the planet.

What an amazing experience this must have been Nathan, I have always LOVED Elvis ever since I was younger, I absolutely LOVE your photos here especially standing in front of Elvis in his gold lamé suit! Nathan I love all the photos. To me he was the most handsome man in the world. It’s a shame how his family have been pulled apart. It looks so colourful all the clothes and amazing keep sakes.
