Dublin

Friday 26th October I travelled to Dublin with my mum and dad, we flew from London City Airport to Dublin around lunchtime. After we landed in Dublin we made a short journey by taxi to our hotel. After settling in we made our way to the city center on the nearby tram system where we had a look around the main streets before having someting to eat at Zizi’s restuarant in the Temple Bar area. On Saturday due to a problem at our hotel we had to switch to another hotel on the other side of the city. In the afternoon we visited the Wax Museum which I really enjoyed as it had some characters from Star Wars and other movies/shows that I liked. The Wax Museum was good fun and had a scary horror section on the ground floor. In the evening we met up with our friends Ann and Andy who were also in Dublin this weekend to watch the Dublin Marathon. On Sunday we went to the Guiness Storehouse Museum where we found out about the history of the famous black stuff and how they make the drink using barley, hops, water and yeast. In the evening we ate at a Italian restaurant called Milano but it was the same as my favourite UK restaurant Pizza Express but with just a different name. Later in the evening we walked through the Temple Bar area again before going back to our hotel. I really liked Dublin it was a fun and friendly place to visit and I would recommend going there.
